Real Networks RealPlayer 11- the next major version of its media player software. The jukebox is the first to focus attention on capturing web-based video instead of simply offering tools to play it back. A unique extension to the player's web plugin can automatically detect videos that are recordable from the web and saves multiple clips at one time; this works for both live video events as well as prerecorded shows, Real says. Thu hình màn hình không phải là một công việc đơn giản. Tác vụ này cần thu lại một số lượng rất lớn dữ liệu pixel từ màn hình sang bộ nhớ, sau đó mã hóa các dữ liệu pixel thành một chuỗi phim nén.

Cùng lúc đó, tiến trình cũng cần mã hóa các dữ liệu âm thanh thanh một chuỗi âm thanh nén. Tiến trình này lặp lại từ 20-30 mỗi giây trong suốt quá trình thu hình. Bởi vậy ảnh hưởng lên tốc độ hệ thống là không thể tránh khỏi. Nếu ảnh hưởng này đáng kể sẽ đem lại tác dụng xấu, đặc biệt là khi bạn đang chơi trò chơi.

Tuy nhỏ nhưng cực mạnh


Tuy kích thước khá nhỏ nhưng lại có khả năng phi thường là chơi rất nhiều file media mà ngay cả Winamp 503 cũng không làm được như chơi từng bản DVD .Chương trình có thể chơi được hầu hết các định dạng âm thanh từ Microsoft Media, Real, cho đến Quick time của Apple.


Nó có khả năng tuyệt nhất là lựa được nhiều bản cùng lúc để chơi tự động lần lượt và không cần lựa nữa, trái hẳn với phiên bản Media classic cổ điển của Microsoft: bạn chỉ chọn được 1 bản và chơi đúng 1 bản. Mục files đầu tiên cho phép bạn chọn mở files media nào ở ổ cứng để chơi nhiều files hay mở ổ DVD ra và chọn chơi ngay từng bản bên trong. Đặc biệt ở mục này có thêm mục phụ là open devices, vào đây nó sẽ nhận ra card TV của bạn và card âm thanh ngay.

Nếu không nhận ra card âm thanh, do trục trặc nào đó sẽ không thể có bản nhạc nào chơi được cả.

Bạn nên vào ngay phần view rồi đến Options chọn vào Formats rồi chọn vào all mà không cần chọn video hay audio : Bạn sẽ có đủ loại media mà nó chơi được từ midi, mp3, CD, DVD( vob ) , real audio,.mpeg1, 2, mpeg4, ... có đến hơn 30 loại mà nó có thể chơi được chỉ với 1 file exe này thôi.

Trong phần options này, bạn cũng nên vào mục Filters tìm ra đủ loại bộ lọc mà nó hổ trợ từ AC3, mastroka, FFshow, Ogg splitter, Mpeg splitter., DTS/AC3 ...

Trường hợp chơi DVD mà hình ảnh và màu sắc phát ra quá tối hay quá sáng, bạn sẽ vào phần mpeg decoder mà chọn lại trong 2 phần brightness và contrast để tinh chỉnh hình ảnh cho thật đẹp hơn nữa..

Riêng phần bộ lọc Audio decoder, bạn nên chọn qua PCM 32 bít thay vì chỉ có 16 bít để nghe nhạc phát ra trong windows cho thật hay hơn nữa.

Phần âm thanh tăng giảm hay muốn tắt tiếng chỉnh ở phần play ( thanh công cụ ) hay nút loa nằm góc dưới phải. Phần navigate trên thanh công cụ của Media player classic rất tiện cho bạn muốn đi đến ngay bản nhạc video kế, hay trở lại bản trước hoặc chọn đến ngay bất cứ bản nào mà bạn đã chọn nhiều file cùng lúc ngay từ lúc đầu.

Phần Favorites tiện lợi không kém sẽ giúp bạn lưu ngay bản nhạc mà ưa thích và cần nhớ ngay vị trí để lúc nữa đây bạn tìm ra nó trong nháy mắt.

Phần help có nhiều command- line khá rắc rối giống như lệnh ngoài MS-DOS nên bạn không cần biết đến chúng làm gì..

Đặc biệt đây là chương trình player chỉ có một file tự chạy duy nhất 1.97MB nên bạn có thể để nó bất cứ ở đâu ngay trên desktop hay trong quick launch xài shortcut và để chương trình chính này ở đâu là tuỳ bạn..

Phải nói đây là một chương trình Media player nhỏ gọn và dễ dùng nhất ở bất cứ đâu cho mọi loại file media từ CD qua DVD, mp3 .. midi.. mà bạn từng biết đến.
