O2 Enters Vietnam's Fast Growing Cellphone Market
O2 Asia has officially entered Vietnam's fast growing mobile phone market by assigning the Pacific Dragon Co. as its sole distributor in Vietnam on May 27.
O2 Asia will assist Pacific Dragon to expand its distribution and maintenance network throughout Vietnam.
The firm will roll out O2's five latest products onto the market in June this year. The products will include O2 Xda lls, O2 Xda lli, O2 Xda ll mini, O2 Xphone ll and O2 Xphone llm, which have respective prices of $1,199, $899 and $549 each.
O2 Asia is a subsidiary of the British telecoms service provider O2 Plc. O2 Asia is headquartered in Singapore and has its operations in Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, New Zealand, the Philippines and Vietnam. (Laborer May 31 p7, VietNamNet May 28)
