Sau đây là hướng dẫn chi tiết bằng tiếng Anh để đăng nhập Google talk bằng imov Messenger:

If you are using a imov Messenger on a PocketPC, PocketPC for Phones device, or HandheldPC:

1) Open imov Messenger.

2) On the Login screen, enter "talk.google.com" as in the "Servername:" field. Enter your full Gmail email address in the "Jabber ID:" field (including "@gmail.com").

3) Click the "Setup" button and on the next dialog box click the "Advanced..." button.

4) Check the "Encrypt sessions" checkbox and click OK to dismiss the Advanced Setup dialog box. Click OK again to dismiss the Setup dialog box.

5) Click the "Connect" button on the Login Screen to connect to the Google server.

If you are using imov Messenger on a Windows Mobile Smartphone:

1) Open imov Messenger.

2) On the Login screen, enter "talk.google.com" as in the "Servername:" field. Enter your full Gmail email address in the "Jabber ID:" field (including "@gmail.com").

3) Choose "Menu->Setup" from the Menu and on the next dialog box click the "Advanced..." softkey.

4) Check the "Encrypt sessions" checkbox and click the "Done" softkey to dismiss the Advanced Setup dialog box. Click the "Done" softkey again to dismiss the Setup dialog box.

5) Click the "Login" softkey on the Login Screen to connect to the Google server.

Mặc dù chức năng của Yahoo Messenger hơn hẳn MSN Messenger, AOL, ... nhưng có bao nhiêu người Mỹ dùng Yahoo Messenger?

Mặc dù MSN (Windows Messenger) nâng cấp liên tục, và được cài sẳn trong Windows, nhưng có bao nhiêu người dùng Việt Nam chịu dùng MSN lâu dài?

Chúng ta có chịu bỏ Yahoo Messenger mà sang dùng Google Talk không nhỉ?


Google dùng cơ chế của Jabber, nên đã và sẽ có rất nhiều ứng dụng có thể dùng với Server của Google talk, hầu hết đều Free cả.
